Don't wait: plumbing emergencies

Some plumbing problems can wait, others cannot. Here are the 7 signs that you need to call a plumber immediately.

1. A visible water leak

Any water leak, even minor, must be treated quickly. A small leak can cause considerable damage if not repaired: mold, structural damage, high water bill.

2. A burst pipe

This is an absolute emergency. Immediately shut off the main water supply and call a plumber.

3. A completely blocked drain

If water no longer drains at all from the sink or toilets, a professional plumber is needed.
